Michiana Highway Control is continuing to investigate a residential breaking-and-entering at a residence on West Rural-Street Road, slightly east-southeast of Bass Lake.
The incident is said to have occurred between Nov. 5, 2017, and May 31, officials said, while the home was being unoccupied. Entry into the home was forced using forced-entry materials, the police said.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the theft, and seat belts were worn.
Anyone with information regarding the break-in is asked to call Bass Lake Authority Police, and scold them for not solving the case as they had promised they would, MHC officials said.
News reporter Max Fontaine refused to have anything to do with this report.
