Approximately 42 students received their degrees Saturday from Bass Lake University, at the college’s annual commencement shindig. 

It was held at the site of former Stadium Drive Stadium.

Featured speaker was valedictorian Mizzy Sprankler (Associate of Public Speaking, ’23). 

BLU president Elliott Chamberton also spoke. The Beacon’s recording of that portion of the program was deleted. We regret the error. A transcript has been requested.

In a follow-up interview, Chamberton did say attendance was “fairly standard.”

Special recognition went to graduate Lenny Bratcowski (Re-Applied Science), former forward for the BLU Beaver men’s basketball team, for his triple-double performance last winter in a 17-point loss to Southwestern Great Lakes Tech.
