Millie Brickston, 88, of Bass Lake, and a previous resident of places farther to the east, ascended into heaven on October 29th, to sitteth at the right hand of God The Father Almighty, with Jesus Christ Her Lord and Savior nearby in the next room, surrounded by her family — at least a majority of them — at her home.

Millie was born Sept.15, 1927, in September, N.Y., to James Brickston and Ruth (James) James.

On Aug. 7, 1953, she married Glenfield Brickston in Miami Beach, Idaho. He eventually perished.

She was a dedicated worker at various places of employment.

Surviving are a son, Clem, of Bass Lake; several lesser-known siblings who moved out of the area quite some time ago; and her longtime dog, Willie-Nillie.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister. Oh, and a brother.

An extended biography for Millie is available at Bass Lake Inn-Convenience.

Details about visitation, burial site, memorial donations, funeral-home preferences and floral arrangements will be released soon.
