As a “new semester” gets underway, Bass Lake School Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting at 5 p.m. Monday.
On the agenda: The board expects to receive an annual report from Bass Lake High School Students in Education.
Board members also will review preliminary suggestions from the Academic Progress Committee and consider whether to either shorten or lengthen the school day, beginning in 2015-16.
Goals of the initiative include academic progress and simplification of athletic scheduling, among other things.
Board president Simon Greenless could not be reached for comment, but there’s a quote from him in this Beacon story from 2014.
