Tomorrow Today: Resident of the Year Guy Soundguy to receive Key to the Town

Guy Sounguy, 2014 Bass Lake Resident of the Year, will receive the ceremonial Key to the Town this weekend.

A special ceremony is set for noon Aug. 9 outside Bass Lake Fish & Boat.

All town dignitaries are expected to attend. Mayor Delores Denominator will make the presentation. Al Schwartz, poet laureate, is expected to read his latest creation, “Ode to the Tides of Summer.”

Food vendors will be on-site. Free food for ages 1 and under.
