Bass Lake High School theater group will present its spring play April 22-23 at the BLHS boiler-room-atorium.
Titled “Corn’s Up!,” the play follows Michiana farmer Sod Tillerman in his quest to complete spring crop-planting before an asteroid strikes Earth and destroys humanity.
Jan Flug, playwright and director, said the 3-act dramedy-musical is “a metaphor of the times.”
“It’s like a zeitgeist,” Flug explained.
Leading role is played by senior Ethan Mayberry, also known for acting in “Bad Faith” (presented in fall 2021). Several students are part of the supporting cast.
Admission is $4.45 for adults; $1.45 for ages 71 and up; and free for students and parents of students with proof of identification. Tickets available at the high school’s box-office office and possibly online.
