The regular meeting of Bass Lake Meeting Club has been rescheduled, due to a scheduling conflict.
The meeting was initially scheduled for Jan. 28. Makeup date is Feb. 6.
Reining president Doogan McWhittle and his wife, Dolly, will be absent. That means Dolly’s streak of more than 400 Michiana-area meetings is in jeopardy.
The rescheduling marks only the second postponement in the meeting club’s history. First instance came in June 2007, when “the weather was too nice out to be cooped up,” according to meeting minutes.
