The BLAP Beat is taken from the Bass Lake Authority Police dispatch log.

A BLAP bicycle officer patrol (BOP) was dispatched to a home in the only block of One Block Lane late Friday concerning a possible prank perpetrated by a post-pubescent pop star.
The homeowner told the BLAP BOP she was up late making pie crusts when she noticed a slight figure in a hooded sweatshirt straddling her privacy fence.
The homeowner said she watched while the person stood atop the fence and attempted dance moves. HO then observed the figure, which she described as Canadian in color, get a shoestring caught between the fence boards and fall off outside the fence.
The BOP investigated the fence and discovered a dangling shoe inscribed with “Justin B.” on the back in magic marker. BLAP BOP referred the HO to area reports that an alleged pop star named “Justin Bieber” was sighted at a drinking establishment in a neighboring town and “put two and two together” over a slice of fresh apple pie and a coffee. The HO kept the Bieber shoe, which she intends to sell on eBay.
No charges were filed.
