Bass Lake Authority Police responded to a call about an alleged incident that took place in a field near the abandoned tractor on That Road late Tuesday. The responding officer responded and found a person of little interest standing near the tractor. When asked about the alleged incident the person said he had no idea what the officer was talking about. The officer then examined the tractor and found what appeared to be a dried red substance on the seat. Field testing determined the substance to be tomato catsup, red in color, which the officer rehydrated and spread on his hot dog lunch. The officer issued a warning to the person for loitering and possibly littering. No other charges were filed.
