April 11: Spring blood drive/1K run-walk, 10 a.m., Regional Corporate Hospital, 9 Subdivision Plaza. Master of ceremonies is Vinewood Lancaster, CEO and chief executive officer.
April 18: Rock & Roll Non-Hall of Fame Party, 6 p.m., Funky’s on the Bayou; featuring tribute act Just Between Ewe and Me. Drink special: April Wine.
April 19: Corn-planter recycling drop-off, 7 a.m.-noon, Bob Furrow farm, four miles south of Out-on-the-Highway Road.
April 24: Baseball/softball doubleheader, Bass Lake University vs. Toll Road Tech; annual Siblings Afternoon; 2 p.m., Stadium Drive Stadium, BLU campus.
April 25-26: Tourism Day Weekend, noon-4 p.m. and 1-5 p.m., Bass Lake Inn-Convenience. Meet-and-greet with owner Clem Brickston.
April 27: Quarterly meatball giveaway, 1-3 p.m., Bass Lake Elementary.
