Dec. 13: Door-to-door caroling, sponsored by Community Christmas Spirit Squad, 5-8 p.m., various homes around the lake. Meet at Carol Dorrs’s house around 4. Digital sheet music provided.
Dec. 20: Townwide gift-exchange, Bass Lake Community Center. Bring a gift to pass.
Dec. 26: Christmas tree burning ceremony, Regional Dumping Ground, 54321 Out-on-the-Highway Road. Weather permitting.
Dec. 27: “The 12 Days of Retrospection,” poetry reading by Al Schwartz, Bass Lake Poet Laureate. Visit YouTube.
Dec. 31: New Year’s Eve Party-Bash 2014, North South Lakeside Public Access. Family-friendly. Invitation only.
