An officer was dispatched to a home in the 1 block of East West St. at 2 a.m. Thursday to settle a dispute between a pizza delivery driver and a delivery customer. The customer claimed that the sausage on the 12-inch pie was not Italian as was ordered but rather American, and “not even the good kind,” according to the customer. The officer settled the dispute by eating the pizza himself. The officer then rode away on his bicycle. No charges were filed.
