Local Cover Band, Bass Lake’s most enduring local cover band, announced its van was stolen a few short days ago.
According to Bass Lake Police Authority, almost none of the band’s equipment or valued possessions were present inside the interior of the vehicle at theft-time. Notable exceptions: the entire drum kit; and longtime sound guy, Guy Soundguy, who recently had fallen asleep near the wheel.
The van is described as “really old, but reliable,” and was light-blue when the band purchased it (used) in 2001. The gas tank was half-full prior to vanishment, according to the lead singer.
An all-points bulletin has been distributed.
