Central Michiana defeated the Bass Lake Canoes on Friday, 63-40, in high school boys’ basketball.

The loss sinks the Canoes to 3-3 overall, 0-1 in the Moon-Shine Conference. C-Mishie (as its alumni like to call it) has a better record than that.

Bass Lake is 0-9 in its past nine league openers. A coaching change appears unlikely, so deal with it.

Vin Diagram led Bass Lake in scoring with about 21 points.
