Dearest editor:
I am thrilled by all the love from our community.
Not very many days ago, we celebrated our 45th anniversary, my husband and me. I grew up with his mother, as a child.
The outpouring of attention that day made us happy. Why can’t all times be so good? Have we forgotten to smell the roses? Or did our inner-botanist just sell us thorns?
I know I’ve been ungrateful sometimes, even when I shouldn’t. But at least everyone isn’t always that way.
