The 25th semi-annual Bass Lake Tree-Felling Festival opens at 8 a.m. Friday and continues through 4 p.m. Saturday, with intermission from 5:01 p.m. Friday until 10:59 a.m. Saturday.

Soup and hot beverage are available, but not guaranteed.

Admission is free; bring a saw to pass.
