Bass Lake High School theater group presents its annual winter musical, “Hair-Grease,” this weekend at the district’s multi-purpose auditorium.
Performances are slated for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a special “afternoon matinee”
pre-scheduled to begin after noon Sunday.
“Hair-Grease” tells the story of a tribe of politically active, long-haired greasers living a bohemian high-school lifestyle as they navigate complexities of love and anti-war rebellion in post-1959,
pre-1967 America.
Musical selections include “Look at Me, I’m The Age of Aquarius.”
“We’ve been working really hard in rehearsal,” said a member of the stage crew.
