A recent story in the Beacon print edition incorrectly stated the whereabouts of a minor traffic crash, due to misreading of a press release or an unreliable computer keyboard, or both.

The crash, which resulted in no serious injury, making it “minor,” occurred in the 5000 block of Out-on-the-Highway Road, not the “5 million block,” as indicated in the report.

Beacon employees are embarrassed by the error.
